Chris' 1st Retirement

On June 1, 2003, Chris set off from a good job, a good apartment, good friends, and plenty of fun and exciting things to do in the San Francisco Bay Area. But, fearing stagnancy was setting in, and not enough had been done or explored to just set up permanent camp, Chris made a big, irreversible decision: pack it up, and start driving. Was Chris' decision a good one? Was it a sane one? Was it worth the ensuing joys and troubles? On the one-year anniversary of his departure, this web page was launched to let you, the wondering mini-masses, decide.
